This crispy and cheesy toasted ravioli is baked instead of fried, but still just as delicious. It’s a tasty snack for game day or party time!
I love this easy appetizer because it’s perfect for serving at an Adult Game Night, a Super Bowl party or before a Couple’s Dinner Party. This recipe is easy to make and perfect for any occasion.
Toasted Ravioli Appetizer
I absolutely love this time of year, when I get to enjoy so many sweet and savory snacks! Between holiday parties, game day, and New Year’s Eve, it’s definitely the best time of year for appetizers. This toasted ravioli could not be easier to make, and it’s always a crowd pleaser!
How to Make Baked Ravioli
INGREDIENTS –
- refrigerated cheese ravioli – you can use frozen ravioli that’s been 100% defrosted
- breadcrumbs
- Parmesan cheese
- garlic powder
- dried parsley or Italian seasoning
- egg
- water
- your favorite marinara sauce or alfredo sauce for dipping
DIRECTIONS –
PREP. Preheat the oven to 400. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil, and place a wire rack on top of the foil. Spray the cooling rack with cooking spray, and set aside.
Using the cooling rack on top of the baking sheet helps the ravioli get crispy on both sides. If you don’t have a cooling rack that fits onto your baking sheet, you could flip the ravioli halfway through the cooking time instead.
MIX. In a shallow dish, mix together the parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, garlic powder, and parsley. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water until combined.
COAT. Dip the ravioli into the egg mixture, then into the bread crumb mixture, pressing gently to help the bread crumbs stick to the sides. Place in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
BAKE. Bake 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
SERVE. Serve warm and enjoy!
This toasted ravioli tastes great on its own, but it’s totally amazing dipped in pizza sauce! I love the contrast between the warm, cheesy ravioli and the smooth sauce. It’s the perfect appetizer to munch on anytime you need a delicious snack!

One of our all time favorite game day recipes!!! So easy and so good!
Thanks Kellie, I’m so happy you enjoyed it as much as I do!
I’m making these for our Super Bowl party this weekend!! I love toasted ravioli! 🙂
Silly question! My refrigerated ravioli indicates to boil it. For this recipe do you boil it before baking it?
I don’t boil mine – the time in the oven should cook it all the way through! If you boil yours first, let me know how it turns out – now I’m curious! 🙂
